Gods and sodas

With so many lies and disinformation being spread out there, What are we to believe? There are several factors involved here. All of us will stand before our Creator someday, and what will we say? Knowing the basics of what is right and wrong is the first guide we have. It is not OK to kill or hurt others. We all know that. It is not OK to take someone else’s belongings without permission. We all know that. If your neighbor is hurting and you have the means, you help. When we find out something is wrong, we fix it!

There are these intrinsically inherent values we have. All humans have this understanding. We know this stuff. It’s not Rocket Science. How has it gone so wrong? All of us will make our stand before God based on our beliefs and what we have done with our lives.

When we hear something enough times, true or not, we begin moving our beliefs in that direction. Dis-information and lies are tools used to influence our beliefs and the effectiveness of such a campaign is clear in the state our world finds itself in today. The world is divided into so many parts, effectively, we cannot agree on even the simplest of truths. We are divided by nations. We are divided by race. We are divided by Religious beliefs. We are divided by gender. We are divided by sexual orientation. We are divided by beauty. I could go on and on.

In the above video, Psychologist Jerry Kroth, explains four types of Propaganda techniques. Seeing how propaganda works will help you understanding the war we are facing. The war we are loosing.

How do we know what is right or wrong when every day we get bombarded with someone else’s views. We all need to stand for something and be firm in our convictions. Just make sure that it is your conviction and not that of someone else. We all need to check our own beliefs to decide how we developed our sense of right and wrong. One Holy scripture I adhere to is when Jesus informed his disciples there are Two main Commandments tofollow and live your life by. Two things that would make God happy. 1) Treat all others in the way you would like to be treated. Not disrespecting people. Not making fun of others. The teasing and name calling. It’s harmful. If I am fat, making fun of me and calling me names won’t help. Creating divisive laws stating I now need to pay for two seats because I take up more space, only further divides us from one another. It doesn’t bring us together. We know many of the ingredients added into our foods, before we ever get them, is responsible for a great deal of the over weight problem we are now facing. The problem isn’t you eating,

it’s that the ingredients added into those foods should not be allowed in the first place. We get bombarded in the Media with, don’t like the fat guy propaganda so often, we blame the fat guy, when that isn’t even the real problem or a solution for being overweight. We were influenced by someone else. Now, it’s our belief. Did we stand up for what’s right? I think, standing before God, it would be shameful on our part explaining why we don’t like fat people because… insert reason you’ve heard day after day. When God asks, “Is that treating him as you would like to be treated?” You can not tell God that hurting the fat guy is OK, “Because he’s fat”!

The second part Jesus explained was to Love God and not have other Gods before him. Standing before God and explaining how we Love him but didn’t follow his commandment to “Love thy neighbor” because accepted practice was to humiliate the fat guy, probably won’t wash. I do not believe God will be OK with that answer. Two commandment we are to follow. Just two. Are we? Are we following those two commandments? We are a people starving for the Truth. W e are a lied to people who were influenced out of following those two commandments. Examining where our beliefs originate will help steer us back to a unified nation. We know that World Governments do not follow the Two Commandments. So we need to scrutinize what we are told. The propaganda machine will never stop. We have to stop. It is up to us. When told not to like the fat guy, just remember the source is not from God, and express the Love of others appropiately.  Then the propaganda machine will change the message and deliver it by a different means.  Propaganda is a form of communication aimed towards socially influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position by presenting only one side of an argument. Propaganda is usually repeated and dispersed over a variety of media creating the chosen result in audience attitudes.

As opposed to objectively providing information, propaganda, in its most basic sense, presents information primarily to influence an audience. Propaganda often presents facts selectively lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or uses loaded messages to produce an emotional and not a  rational response to the information presented. The desired result is a change of the attitude toward the subject in the target audience to further a political, religious or commercial agenda. Propaganda is used as a form of ideological or commercial warfare. We have to fight this war if we are to follow the Two Commandments handed down by Jesus.

I remember growing up thinking and saying, “How could the German Nation, the People, Let Hitler do these awfully horrible things”? Being half German myself, I wanted some clarity on how the German Nation, and the German people could allow this to develop.  America, WAKE Up, it is happening here, to us, now, todayKeep your blinders on and your eyes closed because we are the “New Germany” of todays world. This is not America any more, It is, “New Germany.”
